Co-op Homes is committed to providing homes for its own residents that are in a good condition and has an asset management plan designed to help deliver on these promises. The budget for major works over 2018-2019 is £424,000.
Co-op Homes has a 3 year Asset Management Plan approved by the Customer Focus Group and the Board. Our approach to creating the plan is based on a combination of the condition of the stock (our homes), our financial resources and our residents' priorities. The over-arching plan is formally reviewed every six months to take account of
Whilst Co-op Homes' properties are generally in a good condition due to their age and our previous investment in the asset management programme, we aim to ensure that works are evenly distributed across our property portfolio. This will make sure that all residents have some level of improvement works done to their homes over a 5 year period. The table below summarises the Asset Management Plan for 2018 - 2019 and the table at the bottom of the page the works carried out in 2017-18.
