Major Works programme for 2017-18 published

Co-op Homes has a 3 year Asset Management Plan approved by the Customer Focus Group and the Board.  Our approach to creating the plan  is based on a combination of the condition of the stock (our homes), our financial resources and our residents' priorities.  The over-arching plan is formally reviewed every six months to take account of

  • CHS tenant feedback
  • contractor feedback
  • staff feedback
  • inspections carried out by our technical staff
  • analysis of responsive repairs requests
  • value for money
  • changes in regulatory or health and safety guidance.

Whilst Co-op Homes' properties are generally in a good condition due to their age and our previous  investment in the asset management programme, we aim to ensure that works are evenly distributed across our  property portfolio.  This will make sure that all residents have some level of improvement works done to their homes over a 5 year period.

The table below summarises the Asset Management Plan for 2017 - 2018.
