Free workshops to help Housing Co-ops function brilliantly

We recently ran some workshops aimed at helping housing coops consider feedback from their members to see what they could improve.

The workshops were based on the feedback we had from all of our co-ops and built on the fact that everyone we spoke to had a lot of common issues, mostly around member involvement and decision making.

Both workshops were successful in that the co-op was able to step back with an external facilitator able to help with constructive engagement and an external perspective.

We touched on some quite deep issues around how the community functions, the transparency of decision making, barriers to involvement and at times, the personal cost of stepping up.

It was encouraging how much common ground there was on potential solutions and each group went off with an agenda they could take forward.
