Alterations to your home
You will require your landlord’s written permission to carry out alterations
to your home BEFORE any works commence. Please write in or email homes@coophomes.coop providing the below information:
- Your name
- Your address
- Your landlord
- A brief description of the works you would like to carry out.
We will assess the likely scope of the works and let you know the next steps (after referring the matter to your landlord if you are not a Co-op Homes' tenant).
For residents with disabilities: With your landlord's consent we will work with local authorities to secure any available grant funding to enable suitable adaptions to be carried out which will improve our disabled residents' ability to carry out their day-to-day activities and the quality of their life.
Residents should let us know about their plans to apply for disabled adaptations but their request will not be actioned unless or until there is an assessment from the residents occupational therapist.
